Professor Anne Persson


Docent Eva Söderström, forskningsgruppledare

Eva Söderström is an Associate Professor in informatics. She earned her PhD from Stockholm University in 2004, and her research focus is e-services, and the trust aspect of information security. Her primary teaching responsibilities includes PhD student seminars, BSc and MSc theses, e-services, and IT in organisations. Eva is director of studies for the PhD education at the University of Skövde, and also serves as a reviewer in several international conferences and workshops. She is also senior editor of the journal Information Systems Management. Previously, Eva owned and managed her own company, and she has also extensive experience from collaboration with industry and public organisations in her research. In her personal life, Eva enjoys singing and crafting jewellery.

PhD Beatrice Alenljung

Beatrice Alenljung, PhD, is senior lecturer in informatics and head of School of humanities and informatics. Her research interests are requirements engineering, decision support systems, and human-computer interaction. The human-centered perspective is the main thread of her research. Currently, she teach in the courses Interaction, design and usability I, Interaction, design and usability III, Decision-making and decision support systems, as well as Qualitative methods.

PhD Mikael Berntsson

Mikael Berndtsson is an Assistant Professor in Informatics at the University of Skövde, Sweden. His research interest includes event processing technologies for operative business intelligence. He received the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Exeter, U.K. in 1998. Current teaching activities are focused on data warehousing and business intelligence. He has been reviewer and PC member for IEEE Transactions on Education, IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering, VLDB 2005, RuleML, and been part of the organization of DEBS 2012, REFSQ 2010, RIDS'97, and ARTDB-95.

PhD Joeri van Laere

Joeri van Laere is a senior researcher and lecturer in information systems development primarily studying how IT can be utilised by organisations to improve communication, coordination and decision making. Joeri has a background in organisation science and communication science and has applied role-playing simulation games as a method to develop and evaluate information systems, organisational processes and employee skills in concert. Joeri obtained his PhD from Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands, in 2003 on a thesis titled “Coordinating distributed work”. Joeri is currently involved in a research project studying Information management in crisis ( and in the Information Fusion research program ( During his spare time Joeri likes to play old-fashioned board games with his kids and is fond of playing and watching soccer games.

PhD Marcus Nohlberg

Marcus does research primarily in information security and risk management, with a focus on social aspects of information security. He also does research within information systems development and ehealth. Marcus teaches within information security, risk management, systems theory, systems development and project management. His degrees include: Ph.D., MBA, and B.Sc. Marcus started as a IT consultant in back in 1993, then working with systems administration, sales and installing wireless networks. Later on he moved into development of e-business sites and started to work at Framfab, one of Sweden's leading Internet Consultancy Firms. During his Ph.D. studies he also ran a start-up company working with the management of information security information. In 2009 he held his thesis defense, and has since worked at the University of Skövde. In his spare time Marcus is also politically active.

PhD Rose-Mharie Åhlfeldt

Rose-Mharie Åhlfeldt is a senior lecturer and works in the field of information security and healthcare informatics. She received her PhD in 2008 from Stockholm University. Her interests are in the areas of information security management, distributed healthcare, process-orientation, patient safety and patient privacy. She has led and participated in several research projects in collaboration with healthcare organisations and companies. She is a member of the faculty board for informatics, engineering and natural science. She is also a member of the research and development councul of Skaraborg primary care and represents the University of Skövde in SIS TC318. Current research projects include INSIDE and DOME.

PhD student Jesper Holgersson

Jesper is a lecturer and a PhD student at the University of Skövde. He received a BSc in Information Systems Engineering in 2001, and a MSc in Computer Science in 2002. His research mainly concerns user participation in e-service development, particularly e-services used in the public setting and e-government. As a lecturer, he gives courses in database systems and information modelling.

PhD student Hanife Krasniqi

Hanife Krasniqi is a researcher and teacher at the School of Humanities and informatics at the University of Skövde. Her interests lie within the areas of healthcare informatics. She has participated in different IS projects within the field of healthcare e.g. “Vårdens Framtida Informationssystem – Visionen i form av en demostrator”. She has a bachelor's degree in nursing and a master's degree in information systems development. Currently, she is a PhD student studying Knowledge Management in healthcare. Further, she teaches in two different disciplines; information systems development and cognitive science. In her spare time, she enjoys painting and making music. She is also active in multiple animal rescue groups.

Adjunkt Christian Lennerholt

Christian is a lecturer in information systems development and holds an MSc in computer science. He currently teaches programming, database systems, data warehousing, business intelligence, web development, and information systems development. Christian is also program director for the study programs "Systems development: Enterprise Information Management" and "Systems development: Business Intelligence". Previously, Christian has worked at Volvo Cars and technology development. He is a technology interested person with an active lifestyle in which golf is a main interest.
